The Student Government Association (SGA) serves as the liaison between the student body and the student organizations, faculty, and administration. Rogers State University students are able to voice their opinions and concerns through SGA, and author legislation known as resolutions and bills.

SGA is the governing organization that distributes allocated funding to organizations as approved by the entire senate body for use of activities and conferences.

The leadership of SGA has encourages things such as the expansion of intramurals and activities, safety of campus roads, preserving the beauty of the university, the use of ATM/debit cards on campus, and many more productive additions.

RSU students enrolled in at least three (3) credit hours with a minimum GPA of 2.0 may run for senator positions. Qualifying organizations may join SGA. Meetings are open to every student enrolled at Rogers State University. The RSU SGA is a member of the Oklahoma Student Government Association (OSGA).
