Violent Crimes Awareness

From time to time there are violent crimes against women on university campuses.  The crimes may include dating violence, date rape, some type of domestic violence, a sexual assault, and/or stalking.

• Claremore Police Department
• Department of Corrections - This is a public site and information is provided by your right to know! Go to the offender lookup search and check out if a person has a felony conviction, or a sex offender using the Oklahoma Sex Offender registry, or a violent offender (The Mary Rippey Registry).
• National Sex Offender Registry  - Really know the people you are involved with! Go to 'I agree' and enter the person’s name you’re interested in. It will show if the person is a registered sex offender. Again, it’s a public site and public information. Note: Make sure you have the right name and correct spelling.
• The Oklahoma State Courts Network - Check out your relationships, have they been arrested? Open the site search dockets, go to section 1 and enter last and first name and search. If an arrest is in a smaller county, check the non-OCIS section and search for cases.
