Pastoral Ministry Program

An Emphasis of our Christian Ministry Degree Program

What Randall's Pastoral Ministry Program offers:

The pastoral ministry program is designed to provide the student who has the desire and calling for ministry with the most practical preparation available at the undergraduate level and prepares the student for entrance into pastoral ministry. It includes the study of classical disciplines such as language arts, humanities, and the natural sciences and emphasizes preparation in Biblical Evangelism, Missions, and Expository Preaching. A strong emphasis is given to practical ministry and internship opportunities. Instructors and presenters are involved in effective ministry.

A major objective of this program is to produce men and women who have an intimate understanding of the Christian faith and how to share that faith in a contemporary context. The Pastoral Ministry Program seeks to prepare students spiritually, emotionally, relationally, culturally, and academically to meet the challenges of serving Christ in the modern world. Students will have an awareness of ministry issues, leadership principles, church growth models, and practical strategies to assist them in fruitful ministry.

Opportunities with a Pastoral Ministry degree:

The Pastoral Ministry degree from Randall adequately prepares each student to continue their education or go directly into their ministry field. An educational foundation is laid that will allow students to pursue higher education at a seminary or university. A graduate may find a career in senior pastorate and/or church staff positions, as cross-cultural leaders, or in para-church leadership positions.
