REGIONAL FOOD BANK OF OKLAHOMA
Randall is committed to serving our community by partnering with the The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. One in four children and one in six adults struggle with hunger, never certain where their next meal will come from or if there will even be a next meal. The Food Bank helps meet this need by providing enough food to feed more than 110,000 hungry Oklahomans every week. There is one opportunity per month to volunteer (see below) and students can receive 3 hours of community service.
We've set aside the last Wednesday afternoon of each month for participation with the Food Bank. This year we will be serving nearby at the Moore Food and Resource Center. We will meet at 12:40pm on the Barber Center steps and will return by 4:15pm (3 hours of service). The specific dates for the 2018-2019 academic year are:
Fall Semester Dates
Spring Semester Dates
This semester we will be serving in Moore, OK.
The opportunity to serve is open to any members of the Randall community. You will have the privilege of serving alongside members of the Moore community.
If you're interested in joining us, please contact Mrs. Frances Wade (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Community service hours are available for volunteering at the Food Bank.
