Benefits of Membership
Every Graduate is a Member
In July of 2011, the RSU Alumni Association switched to a charitable gift structure after nine years of a dues-based model. This change allows the association to include all living RSU graduates as members. Beginning August 1, 2011, all graduates of RSU are recognized as members of the RSU Alumni Association.
A board of directors oversees the association, which consists of alumni from Rogers State University and its predecessor institutions since 1972, including Claremore Junior College, Rogers State College, and Rogers University.
As an active member in the RSU Alumni Association, you will re-affirm your link with your alma mater, get back in touch with old friends, and meet new ones. Attending social functions and spending time with fellow alumni is only one part of the Alumni Association’s benefits. Other benefits include:
- On The Hill Newsletter: RSU’s alumni newsletter, keeps you up-to-date on what’s happening at the university, including campus news, interesting feature articles, class notes, a university calendar, and profiles of alumni, faculty, and students.
- Career Services: RSU Career Services is committed to helping students and alumni achieve career success. RSU Career Services provides individual career advising, resume and cover letter critiques, mock interviews, and career search assistance to alumni at no cost. Alumni are also invited to participate in all career fairs, workshops and recruitment events.
- Social and Educational Events: Each year, RSU offers a variety of social and educational events for alumni and the general public, including the RSU Homecoming Tailgate Party, Brand U Presentations, community service opportunities and more.
- Hillcat Travelers: RSU Alumni is proud to offer Hillcat Traveloers, a variety of travel opportunities for alumni, families and friends of RSU.
