Radio/Television Option

Television and Radio Stations are your entry into the exciting world of broadcast media. Many of our graduates are employed by area television and radio stations in a variety of roles. Courses include:

• News Reporting
• Audio Production
• Video Production
• Media Law

Students receive hands-on training as:

• Camera Operators
• Floor Directors
• Audio Operators
• Graphics Operators

Students can develop their own projects including news, features stories, and promotions with station equipment. Advanced students may work on high-definition digital productions.

Students learn not only the theory, but also the practice of electronic media production.
