The Environmental Conservation Option allows students to pursue careers in the rapidly growing field of conservation.

Students with a desire to study ecological and environmental fields will be interested in this option.

The Environmental Conservation Option emphasizes environmental chemistry and ecological toxicology (contaminants and pollutants).

Issues addressed include:

• landscape ecology
• regional and global threats to bio-diversity
