Students may return books for a refund on their student account if (1) the book remains the same condition it was purchased in, and (2) the book is returned before the Add/Drop date. Under no circumstances are books returnable after the Add/Drop date.
At the end of semester, the Bookstore will conduct a Buy-Back on select books. The Bookstore holds the Buy-Back during finals week of the Fall and Spring semesters. Dates and times will be posted. Because the amount of paid books bought back depends on demand and distribution prices, there is no guarantee as to how much a student will receive for books in the Buy-Back.
In case a student must withdraw, he/she is obligated to pay charges according to the following schedule:
SUMMER AND WINTER TERM CHARGES
INTENSIVE COURSE CHARGES
To be eligible for any refund, a student must complete the appropriate withdrawal form and have it approved by the Registrar's Office. Withdrawal forms may be obtained from the Registrar's Office.
In case a student is dismissed for disciplinary reasons, he/she is obligated for the balance of his/her payments including room and board.
The refund policies listed below describe the financial obligations of students who withdraw from classes after the official beginning of a semester. Students are advised to read these refund policies carefully to determine which apply to their specific circumstances.
